For GPs, public health nurses, occupational therapists, discharge teams and carers. If someone you look after lives at home and you’re worried about falls, send us their details and we’ll take it from there.
What happens next
- We phone them, or the relative you name, between 9am and 5pm on a weekday.
- If they’d like it, our specialist visits the home for a complimentary consultation. No obligation, and no card required.
- Nothing is fitted unless they decide to go ahead.
What SmartGuardian is, and isn’t
Sensors in the home detect a fall and alert the family. There’s no pendant to wear and no button to press, and no video is stored. It doesn’t call 999, nobody watches it, and it isn’t a medical device. If the person qualifies for the free Seniors Alert Scheme, we’ll tell them to apply for that too. How SmartGuardian works.
